Lakemont Academy KinderCare in Bellevue is a day care center that appears to serve toddlers, preschool-age children, and some older young children through summer or school-year programming. For parents, this kind of setting usually means a routine-based day with care, structured activities, meals, and outdoor time in a supervised environment. The available information suggests a program that supports both everyday childcare and a learning-focused atmosphere.
Children at Lakemont Academy KinderCare may take part in engaging classroom activities, play, and daily care routines. The center also appears to have a large playground and outdoor grounds, which may be appealing for families who want their children to have room to move and spend time outside. That can be especially helpful for toddlers and young children who benefit from a mix of indoor structure and active outdoor play.
The environment comes across as community-oriented and family-friendly, with communication that helps parents stay informed throughout the day. Staff members are described as attentive, and the setting seems to emphasize keeping children busy, comfortable, and well cared for. For parents, practical details such as easy drop-off and pick-up, parking, and daily updates may make the experience feel more manageable.
This may be a good fit for families looking for childcare in Bellevue with a mix of learning, play, meals, and outdoor space. Parents may want to ask about age groups, current openings, and program options to see whether Lakemont Academy KinderCare matches their child’s needs.
Beatriz and Ms. G are amazing. Beatriz is warm, competent, and is an amazing leader who really cares about the parents, kids, and staff. She is always attentive, great at prioritizing what’s important, but never afraid to roll up her sleeves and do whatever is best for the center. One thing that impressed me was that she’s always putting herself in the shoes of the parent, and thinking about what would make the partnership between parent and school be smoother, and what’s best for the child. Even the small details, like making sure teachers send enough photos of the children to parents(something that is not a given at other schools! Especially in the older grades!) shows her depth of care and leadership. I will be recommending this location and any school Beatriz leads confidently to my friends and family. Ms Aubrey is such a joyful, smart, kind teacher. What impresses me about her is that she has a wide repertoire of children skills, and she is able to establish rapport with a wide range of children with very different temperaments. She has fast reflexes. At drop off, I once saw her simultaneously patiently, calmly explain something to a child and then immediately out of the corner of her eye spot two very active students start to engage in something that could escalate if not managed, and quickly address that, instruct them, and then swap back to the calm child, and settle all the parties without leaving her calm state. I’ve seen a lot of teachers and that was the first time I saw one handle the simultaneous demands so calmly and completely, while leaving the children all happy and understanding better what happened. Ms G is great. Warm, personable, and great suggestions for how to help children acclimate. Children clearly love her! Overall we have had a great experience so far. Any moms, especially moms who previously homeschooled their children or had a nanny (instead of already having daycare experience) will find that this school is very understanding and respectful, and a great place to transition your child to kindergarten. We will be recommending this school to our friends and plan to work with them again in the future. This school is a hidden gem.
I'm so pleased with this facility and staff. Our granddaughter started in the toddler program and now at 2yrs old she is in the discovery program and she is so happy there. Our 6yr old granddaughter also attended their program in the summer before she started school and she loved it. Miss Rebecca is a wonderful teacher and Miss Shalini is great. The food they serve the kids is very good. They have a really big playground and keep the children engaged and safe. I feel our granddaughter is very well cared for. Their director, Miss Lauren is amazing and I would highly recommend Lakemont Academy.
- very high teacher turnover - I saw a teacher very roughly putting a toddler in his chair which I reported to the director. - sent home a candy bar with nuts to my son who had a severe allergic reaction (they have his allergies on file) - for kids with allergies, I found out my son was having canned pears and cucumbers for lunch without any protein offered which is unacceptable - hallway carpet is very dirty + classrooms are clean + some of the teachers are great like Ms. Becca but most others were just there to babysit and didn’t seem to care too much. The kids treated the teachers like friends instead of grownups that they should respect. Overall, I would not put my child here unless he’s able to fend for himself. Even then, there are better options out there.
My two children (2 years and 3 years) have been attending Lakemont Academy for a year now and we love it. The teachers have been brilliant and the curriculum and activities seem to be engaging and fun. There’s a real community feel and we have become friends with several other families who we see regularly in the local playgrounds after school. A huge plus for this place are the grounds which are set back from the road and surrounded by trees, the outdoor space is great so the kids are able to enjoy the outdoors over summer. Drop-off and pick-up is super easy with plenty of parking space. Thanks for creating a happy and safe learning/playing environment for our kids!
Our 2 year old son loves Lakemont Academy. We are fortunate to have found this care center for our son admist the pandemic. Our son started very young about 6 months back and the teachers were very supportive helping him settle in. Miss Gitta, Miss Vibi, Miss Pila and their team of teachers do a wonderful job aiding the kids to be independent. I have been impressed at the growth in language skills, eating and sleeping schedules, and social skills. The teachers are creative with indoor and outdoor play. My son is super excited to go to school every morning and as a parent I am glad to have found this super team I can trust.
