This was our daughter's first year of school (Moyen -- pre-k). Not only is she learning a lot in addition to French, she has really come out of her shell socially. We can't thank her teachers/TA enough for their patience and kindness. The school also has fantastic leadership and welcoming staff. Our daughter is not only receiving a world class bilingual education, but we as a family have also been welcomed into a tight-knit community.

My son is in the preschool program at FISW, and I've been really impressed with his progress. He's fluent in both French and English, and we even speak Mandarin with him at home - trilingual at just 4 years-old ! Thank you FISW for creating such a supportive and enriching environment.

Our twin boys are currently enrolled at French Immersion school of Washington and we love the community - very diverse and ground to earth. As a family we aren't native French speakers, however our kids learnt the language so quickly. It's an excellent bilingual immersion. school, which offers a strong academic curriculum in both French and English in an experiential learning approach via projects related to Art, Science, Mathematics, Sports, History etc... throughout the year, field trips, outside in authors visiting to talk to students along with exchange opportunities with schools in France. French Immersion school of Washington is one of the most diverse schools in the greater Seattle area. I would strongly recommend the school for families who are considering Bilingual immersion program in the Greater Seattle area.
