International Montessori Academy – Eastgate is a preschool in Bellevue that appears well suited to toddlers and young children beginning a more structured early learning experience. Families can expect a Montessori preschool environment where children spend their day in guided classroom activities rather than a parent-participation class. The program seems to offer a mix of academics and hands-on experiences that help children settle into a steady routine.
Children at the academy appear to take part in activities such as music time, show and tell, and field trips, along with the broader Montessori classroom experience. That combination may appeal to families who want a preschool setting that gives young children chances to listen, participate, interact with teachers, and explore new experiences alongside classmates. The setting may be especially relevant for toddlers moving into early preschool, since the school is described as supporting children through everyday routines and transitions.
Families may also appreciate the supportive teacher-child relationships described here. The classroom environment comes across as caring and community-oriented, with staff helping children feel comfortable and supported during important milestones such as potty training. That kind of consistency can matter for parents looking for a preschool where their child can grow into school routines at a gentle pace.
For parents comparing Montessori preschool in Bellevue options, International Montessori Academy – Eastgate may be a good fit for children who enjoy a mix of structure, music, social experiences, and hands-on learning. Families may want to ask about current age groups, classroom openings, and daily schedules before enrolling.
We loved the IMA experience for both our toddlers. The teachers and staff are great and Our kids loved their teachers. They had so many of their first experiences with their friends and teachers during their time at IMA. Academically they enjoyed their many activities- music time, show and tell, field trips, etc.. Overall we are very satisfied with IMA and would highly recommend it to anyone considering this option for their child.
We love Ms Selina and Ms Evan in the Early Preschool classroom. They are excellent partners and were critical in helping my toddler become potty trained. She also arrives to school with a big smile on her face making me feel happy knowing that shes safe in a community that loves her.
We love IMA. Our son gets excellent care here and learns a lot!
