SafeSplash Swim School – Kent (Panther Lake) in Kent provides swim lessons for kids in a lesson-based format that appears to help children gain comfort and skill in the water. Families looking for kids swim lessons in Kent may find this location appealing if they want structured instruction with a steady focus on progress.
Children can expect coached swim classes that work on floating, swimming, and water confidence. The available information suggests the school serves children at different stages, including nervous beginners and kids who are ready to build more advanced skills. That makes it a practical option for families with children who need a gentle introduction as well as those who are already developing technique.
The atmosphere seems friendly and reassuring, with instructors who are knowledgeable and supportive. For parents, that can make a big difference when a child is hesitant in the water or needs repeated practice to feel comfortable. The setting also appears to be organized around lessons with specific class times, so families may want to plan ahead when scheduling.
One practical point parents should know is that class days and times may be limited, so checking availability early could be important. This location may be especially useful for families who want consistent swim instruction and are comfortable working around a set lesson schedule in the Kent area.

a month agoI paid for four training sessions and was enrolled to start on July 10 from 5:30–6:00 PM. I arrived at 5:15 PM because I was instructed to come 15 minutes early for my first session. I asked several staff members for my trainer, Cristal, but no one knew who she was. The front desk told me the gym and pool programs were managed separately and couldn’t help me. After asking multiple employees, I finally found Cristal at 5:35 PM. When I told her I was registered for training with her, she seemed unsure of what to do. I had to ask if I should go change into my swimsuit, and she simply said yes. After I changed and returned, she was training someone else and didn’t acknowledge me or explain anything. Later, she told me to get into the water. I stood there for about 15 minutes, freezing, with no instruction or interaction. I eventually got out and sat on the side for another 15 minutes because I had no idea what I was supposed to be doing. When the person she had been training finished, she immediately started working with another person without saying anything to me. I finally had to approach her and ask what I was supposed to do. She told me I could either watch her train someone else or stay in the water. She then asked me, “What do you want to know?” That question was shocking. I paid for professional training. It shouldn’t be my responsibility to tell the trainer how to conduct the session or what I should be learning. I expected guidance, instruction, and a structured lesson. Instead, my time was completely wasted. I received no training, no explanation, and no professionalism. I left around 6:10 PM feeling frustrated, disappointed, and like my money had been wasted. Because of this experience, I am requesting a full refund. I no longer have confidence in this program and would not recommend it based on how my first session was handled.
