Montessori Cares offers child care in Hillsboro with a Montessori approach that appears especially relevant for toddlers and preschool-age children. The program seems focused on young children who benefit from a calm, structured, and hands-on environment where they can practice independence, explore learning materials, and move through the day at a child-friendly pace.
Children at a Montessori setting like this may spend time with practical activities, reading, puzzles, and other Montessori work that supports focus and independent problem-solving. Families may appreciate that the environment is described as nurturing and thoughtful, with teachers who are attentive and responsive to each child. For children who are just starting school or who have had a difficult transition elsewhere, that kind of steady support can be particularly important.
The school also appears to emphasize authentic Montessori methods, which may matter to parents specifically looking for a true Montessori experience rather than a generic daycare model. The classroom environment seems calm and welcoming, and the interaction between teachers and children sounds patient and encouraging. That can make the setting feel approachable for families seeking an early learning program where children can settle in gradually and gain confidence over time.
Montessori Cares may be a strong option for parents looking for Montessori child care in Hillsboro with a clear focus on early childhood growth, practical skills, and child-centered learning. Families may want to contact the center for current openings, age ranges, and daily care details before enrolling.
Montessorie Cares was our first daycare experience, and we couldn't be happier. I was nervous about leaving our little one with people we didn't know, but Mr’s Khan and all the teachers put us at ease from day one. They're very loving, attentive, and clearly care about each child. And we loved the large playground that gives the kids plenty of space to play, and it's lovely to see the younger ones learning from the older children. We feel completely safe leaving our little one here and would highly recommend it to any parent.
We have been with Montessori Cares for about five months, and I’m genuinely so very grateful we found this place for our son. Before Montessori Cares, we had a difficult daycare experience. Our son who was 3.5 years old is a strong and determined child, and we were looking for a place where he could exercise his independence while also being guided with warmth and patience. After coming across so many positive reviews about Montessori Cares, we decided to visit the school. As it happened, our son was having a particularly difficult day during the tour and was struggling with his behavior. What really stood out to me was how Mrs. Khan responded. She was incredibly patient with him, tried to understand what he needed in that moment, and most importantly, was willing to give him a chance. I wasn’t sure how things would go, but once he started attending, we slowly began seeing positive changes. His behavioral struggles gradually reduced, and he became much more comfortable and happy going to school. As I got to know the school, one of the things I really came to appreciate was the way Mrs. Khan and the teachers care for the children. You can genuinely see how much they love and care about each child, not just as a student, but as little individuals. When a child is having a difficult moment, they take the time to understand what is going on instead of simply redirecting them. They are patient and help the kids find the right words to express how they are feeling. At the same time, they teach them to listen, respect others, and make good choices. All of the teachers have been excellent, and seeing this kind of care and patience made me feel confident that my son was in the right place. One of my favorite things to see during pickup is my son asking the other kids, “Does anybody need a hug?” and then going around giving hugs to whoever raises their hand. ❤️ I was so moved when I first witnessed this. That says so much about how comfortable and happy he feels here. And their huge playground is an added bonus—the kids absolutely love it! What makes Montessori Cares special to us is that they don’t try to make every child fit into the same mold. They encourage independence while also giving children the guidance and support they need to learn and grow. As parents, leaving your child while you work is never easy. We are genuinely so happy we found Montessori Cares, and I only wish we had found them sooner. These days when I pick him, I often hear him say "I want to go to school, again". Ah, what a joy :)! This is a place that not only supports children academically and emotionally, but also helps them become confident, independent, and strong individuals. I wholeheartedly recommend this school to any parent looking for a warm, respectful, and nurturing environment where their child is truly cared for and encouraged to grow. ❤️
We are the grandparents of a two-year-old who has been attending Montessori Cares for nearly a year. While we are able to provide care ourselves, we’ve seen that the environment here is far more beneficial to her overall development. Socially and academically, the growth has been remarkable—especially in her speech, confidence, and ability to express herself. She is learning valuable practical skills, from simple independence at the table to problem-solving with puzzles. She loves reading, responds beautifully to her teachers, and is thriving in a child-centered, self-paced environment. We don’t simply see progress—we see confidence, independence, and joy. The Montessori approach, focused on independence and hands-on learning, has truly been a gift to her development. After 27 years at an elementary school, I can say with complete confidence: children thrive when they are allowed to learn at their own pace and according to their individual interests. This is the difference between a child who keeps up—and a child who truly excels…where learning is not just beneficial, it’s TRANSFORMATIONAL! We feel a deep sense of peace knowing she is being so well prepared for the future. The “first five” years are critical, and this school is providing an exceptional foundation. Mrs. Khan is extraordinary—attentive, intuitive, and deeply invested in each child. After our granddaughter returned from a hospital stay, she noticed subtle weight loss that others might have missed. That level of care speaks volumes. She truly KNOWS and loves her students. Montessori Cares has exceeded our expectations in every way, and we are deeply grateful for the care, intention, and excellence they provide each and every day.
We’ve had a wonderful experience with Montessori Cares, and I’m so grateful for the care and attention they provide to our son. When our child was about two and a half years old, he attended a different preschool for a few days for the first time. He was very afraid and didn’t want to continue there, which made us anxious about trying another daycare or preschool. Then we found Montessori Cares. Even though we were still worried about how our child would transition, he adjusted beautifully from day one. The warm, patient teachers and the calm, welcoming school environment made such a huge difference for him. The staff were incredibly supportive and attentive, which helped him feel safe and confident so quickly. We’ve seen our child grow more independent, comfortable, and excited about learning, and seeing him happy to go to school now has meant everything to us as parents. Communication with the school has also been great—any questions or concerns are handled promptly and professionally, which gives us real peace of mind. We truly appreciate everything the Montessori Cares team does and would highly recommend this school to any family looking for a nurturing, thoughtful, and supportive place for their child to grow.
Our son attended Montessori Cares for a little over a year, and I can honestly say it was one of the best decisions we made for him. The only reason we moved on was purely logistical — we live about 40 minutes away, and when I became pregnant with our second son, we needed to find a school closer to home since I’d be on maternity leave for several months. If distance hadn’t been a factor, we would have stayed much longer. This was actually the second group care our son attended. The first one didn’t work out — I often felt he wasn’t getting the love and attention he needed. When we found Montessori Cares, everything changed. From the very beginning, it felt different — safe, nurturing, and filled with genuine warmth. As a parent, leaving your child in someone else’s hands is never easy, but with Montessori Cares, I truly felt at peace. It felt like family. Mrs. Khan, the director, is truly a remarkable person. She’s not only deeply knowledgeable about early childhood development but also genuinely compassionate and kind. You can feel her care and dedication toward every single child. The teachers reflect that same warmth — they’re patient, loving, and attentive in everything they do. I’ll always remember Ms. Lucas, the staff lead — her passion for nurturing each child’s growth and individuality shines through every day, and her gentle, caring nature left a lasting impression on me. I will also miss Ms. Barnes and Ms. Ahmed for their caring and gentle presence. At times, drop-offs weren’t easy, especially after a long weekend, and they always took the time to comfort my son and help ease that transition with so much kindness. The school itself has such a calm and welcoming atmosphere. It’s well-organized and structured, but also warm and inviting. I loved the large, open backyard where the children could play, explore, and enjoy being outdoors — it is such a wonderful space for them to release energy and connect with one another. I also appreciated the staff’s open communication — especially when our son got a bump or scrape, they were always quick to reach out and reassure us. Under their care, I watched my son blossom. He grew more confident, respectful, and independent. He also made his very first friends here — friendships that meant so much to him. He was always excited to see them every morning, wished he could stay longer at the end of the day, and even talked about them on weekends. It was so heartwarming to see him form those bonds in such a loving environment. Montessori Cares changed how I view childcare — it reminded me that love, kindness, and structure can absolutely coexist. I will always be grateful for the way they cared for my little boy and helped him grow.
