Circle of Friends Preschool

Our son and daughter both attended this school. They have loved it and so have I. The monthly events/parties, the performances, the weekly share day, all of it makes the preschool experience so fun. My daughter has had some separation anxiety and Ms. Monica was so extremely helpful with helping my daughter work through her fears and return to class. Couldn’t recommend enough.

This place continues to be such a blessing to our family! Laura Erickson is incredible, as well as all of the teachers at Circle of friends. Circle of Friends has been a complete game changer in my child and her love for school!

We absolutely love this preschool and couldn’t be more grateful for the care our children receive here. The environment is very structured, supportive, and genuinely caring. The teachers do an amazing job acknowledging each child and guiding them in a constructive, patient way. One thing we really appreciate is how the kids are brought together in participating classroom activities—it truly builds confidence, teamwork, and a sense of community. Every teacher we’ve interacted with has handled the kiddos thoughtfully and professionally, even in challenging moments. We have had three children attend and are currently still going through the school, which says a lot about the trust we have in this place. We always feel our children are safe, supported, and cared for. Thank you to all the teachers and staff for the hard work, dedication, and love you put in every single day. We are very grateful to be part of this community.

All three of our children have attended or are currently attending this preschool, and I truly cannot say enough good things about it. Knowing that we still have two more years here with our youngest brings me so much comfort and joy. From the moment I walk through the doors, I feel at peace. This preschool feels deeply safe, regulating, and genuinely welcoming—emotionally, spiritually, and developmentally. I know without a doubt that my children are not only protected, but truly seen, acknowledged, and cared for. The teachers and directors are extraordinary. They bring so much playfulness, warmth, and joy to their relationships with both the children and the parents, while also holding firm, healthy boundaries. They guide the children with intention—teaching structure, respect, creativity, and emotional regulation in a way that feels natural and loving. I honestly don’t know how they do it. The director, in particular, has supported our family through some incredibly difficult seasons of life, and I will always be grateful for that compassion and steadiness. The amount of work, care, and heart that goes into everything—from the Christmas program to the spring program, to every thoughtful craft and daily routine—is truly remarkable. They are also wonderful at redirecting children who are having hard days or struggling with behavior, meeting them with patience, understanding, and skill rather than punishment. As a parent, that means everything. I also deeply appreciate that this is a Presbyterian preschool. Faith is woven in gently and meaningfully, and it truly feels like Jesus is at the center of this community. Leaving your babies in someone else’s care is never easy, especially when they are so little. This preschool has given us complete trust and peace in that regard. They are exceptional with the youngest children as well—our daughter is the youngest in the school, and because of the consistency, love, and care she receives, she is absolutely blooming. We feel incredibly blessed to be part of this preschool community

One star is for one good year at the preschool. My two kids went to this preschool. Both went to preschool and pre-K classes and I could not wait for the constant frustration to end, especially the last year. My kids did not like their respective pre-K classes and were even afraid of the teachers. I have to admit that preschool teachers are great there. The teacher last year was openly negative about my child and did not find a single positive word for him in the entire year. She complained every week about his behavior. The preschool teacher, on the other hand, complimented him every day and never complained about his behavior. The pre-K teacher last year did not notice other kids swearing in the class and, as a result, my child brought some swear words I never heard before. With the change of the director, the school lost its cheer and life. It does not seem like a fun place for kids to be. I am not surprised that that they have fewer kids every year.
