I can’t praise this place high enough! My son was having trouble with speech and would constantly blabber instead of talk. But everyone involved from the start made a huge impact on not only my son but us and how we approach things with him. Osha was so kind and helpful with explaining the process to us and CHRIS!!!!! Omg I hope yall are lucky enough to get Chris! My son loved him and to this day he’ll still do fist bumps and hide things in shirt pockets (inside joke) Chris is very very patient and makes the visits feel more like hang outs with helpful guidance. Thank you guys for all you do!!!

I couldn't be more happy with the outcome of working with child strive. They helped us in so many ways. From our family coordinator Osha to his Special Educator Sarah. Sarah was so patient and took on different techniques if my son wasn't catching on with something. She was ALWAYS so understanding and my son looked forward to seeing her. They ROCK.

Our patient care coordinator, Katherine, scheduled us weeks out for an in-person assessment. We confirmed earlier this week via email; however, because she couldn’t reach us by phone, she cancelled our appointment.
My family was waiting and ready. She didn’t bother to email and then tried to tell me that because phone was my preferable communication method, she cancelled, as if she hadn’t emailed me multiple times in the past couple weeks.

I tried calling and they wouldn’t pick up my calls. Completely ignored them because she’s likely still in office and knows caller ID.
I’ve requested a new patient care coordinator, rescheduled appointment but will likely discontinue services here.

My child is being taken to this class without my permission and was signed up without my knowledge and that is not ok.

I was looking for occupational therapy for my baby's food aversion (more common than you think) and contacted 4 places and only got wait-listed, all except for Childstrive. My baby got evaluated and they set us up with Osha Andrejevs, family resource coordinator, and Patty Huber, occupational therapist in record time. They were godsend! And it was all for free (explanation below)!
My baby made drastic improvements under Patty Huber. She also helped me gain confidence when feeding him. I guess I needed some therapy as well... His eating ability improved exponentially and within a couple of months we were no longer in need of therapy.
Patty also introduced me to cool apps like vroom that helps with baby nutrition. She recommended cool super healthy foods like jicama. She also gave me tips on handling my baby's behaviors along with book recommendations. The wealth of information she has makes her more than "just a therapist." She was also very patient and compassionate and just a wonderful human to be around. We will truly miss her dearly!
After months of using Childstrive, I received notification of rejection by the insurance company (HMO Kaiser permanente). However, insurance member service kept telling us that they will appeal and it was just due to name difference in referral and submitted claim. So therapy continued till it was half a year of therapy later and I received another rejection letter. This time, I asked member services to transfer me to the appeal department. When I talked to the appeals guy, he told me it was a flat out rejection and not the name difference in referral and claim form...
In the meantime I was not getting any bill from Childstrive. I talked with Osha who told Tara Skelly from Billings. Then I found out that Childstrive will cover the whole cost. They knew they were not contracted with HMO Kaiser and they still accepted us for therapy and provided all the therapy sessions for free. I have never in my life had anyone forgive a medical fee so I'm so flabbergasted and grateful for Childstrive. Osha told me that they are a non profit organization so they provide services free for certain cases like us. Osha was so compassionate through this and I was so glad to have someone who was proactively trying to help me while I was panicking through this financial ordeal. She was always checking up on us to see how we were progressing and she had this upbeat and friendly attitude that made me feel very comfortable.
Because of Childstrive, my baby is literally thriving and well nourished. My son is also automatically eligible for other types of therapy from Childstrive until he turns three years old. This organization provided vital therapy in my baby's time of need and I am indebted to them forever! Sorry for this long review!!!
