a month agoIf you're visiting Bremerton, Ballast needs to be on your list. Staff were incredibly helpful and friendly. We could spend all day there. A brilliant collection of books from mainstream to local authors. Independent Bookstores like Ballast need to be protected at all costs. Amaze Amaze Amaze

a month agoWhat a great bookstore! So many fun items packed into a smaller space. Everything from curated books with fantastic displays to an amazing sticker assortment. Washi tape, kids toys, fountain pen ink, art supplies. The two people working there were genuinely friendly and helpful- and seemed to love being there -what a great team! They also seem to host various community events/book clubs.
