4 months agoMy kids enrolled in ELA Program for the last year in AOPS. They did not have a single teacher throughout the year. Every week, the teacher kept changing. In the mid year, I complained to the director about this. Nothing changed. My experience was not great as far as ELA course is concerned.

She consistently tells us how much the teachers have helped her feel stronger and more capable in math. It’s rare to find instructors who can challenge a student while also keeping them genuinely motivated. Highly recommend for any student looking to push their boundaries!

7 months agoMy daughter has been going to AoPS Academy Redmond for over a year, starting in kindergarten, and it’s been a great experience. I really value that AoPS approach isn’t about memorization or cramming - it’s about learning how to think, reason, and solve problems. In our age of LLMs and AI I believe these skills have genuine staying power (unlike rote learning). The program is challenging (in a good way) and strikes a rare balance: appropriately hard without being discouraging. The staff are consistently supportive and professional. We’re coming from Mill Creek and making the ~50-minute drive each way, which says a lot about how much we believe in the program. Hoping they open a Mill Creek location someday!
