2 years agoYuka-Sensei and Sano-Sensei are both extremely skilled and amazing teachers. I highly recommend this school if you want to get stronger in math and reasoning. I would rate this 8/5 stars if I could!!!

3 years agoWe tried online class for a year, but didn’t feel like we were included much. When my son got 3rd place in one of the competition there were never any word of encouragement. On the last day of class no words at all all my son heard of “ you were late.” He was in tears after this last class. So I have friends here who asked me about abacus, but I told them last year that I can’t recommend the school at least online one. You pay the same tuition but gets lesser treatment.

3 years agoMy daughters have been attending Math Abacus School of Seattle for the past four years and have come to love math, especially mental math. They both started at the age 4 and since then I have personally witnessed a noticeable improvement in their reading, concentration, and memorization abilities. The teachers, Ms. Yuka and Mr. Tetsuya, are professional and attentive in helping students gain an understanding of the abacus materials. My daughters have attended in person and virtually, both formats are highly recommended.

3 years agoMy daughter started attending the abacus classes when she was ~6 year old. Learning abacus has helped her developed strong foundation for her math skills. There is appropriate level of homework, competition etc to keep her engaged. Ms Yuka is awesome and the classes are flexible (online or in person) which I appreciate given my busy schedule.

3 years agoGreat school, great teachers! Yuka, In particular is the best and is so good with kids. She’s able to multi task and manage all the kids so effortlessly both online/ in-person.
