7 months agoMy husband and I took the all-day Childbirth, Newborn Care & Breastfeeding Basics class, and it was incredibly informative. Jennie is clearly very passionate about her work and does an amazing job listening to each couple’s needs while personalizing the experience for everyone in the room. She explains everything in great detail, answers every question thoroughly, and encourages you to reach out during breaks and even after the class for additional information and resources.
I thought I already had a well-rounded understanding of childbirth since I spend a lot of time watching YouTube videos and reading books, but Jennie covered so many topics I hadn’t even considered. The class was also wonderful for partners — my husband learned so much about what we go through, how to provide support during labor, and how to help both mom and baby postpartum.
It truly brought us closer together and gave us a clearer, more complete understanding of what to expect and how to prepare. I would recommend Jennie’s class to all new parents! While online resources and medical providers are helpful, Jennie’s experience as a doula adds a level of practical knowledge and insight that you simply can’t get elsewhere.

We had the most exceptional service and couldn’t have done the first few weeks postpartum without Prepare the Nest. Jennie and Ella are not only knowledgeable and professional but also empathetic. We felt cared for and supported every step of the way.

6 months agoMy husband and I took the full-day, in-person "Childbirth, Newborn Care & Breastfeeding" class and it was exactly what we hoped for! We feel so much more confident in our journey thanks to Jennie.
It was awesome to have hands on newborn care training and hang out with other expecting parents. I felt very validated and supported by the childbirth section and my husband got to ask a ton of questions and learn what to expect.

1 year agoAs a second time mom I have unique thoughts going into this upcoming birth, and know now more than ever to lean on the available resources.
Unfortunately I had a horrible experience with nursing the first time around so I am taking every chance I can to make this second time better. I just took their lactation course and Jennie helped ease my anxieties and we crafted a game plan for after the birth! Of course we cannot control the entire process but I feel empowered and confident to nurse 💪💪💪💪💪. I probably asked over 30 questions and Jennie took them all seriously and answered with care.
Clean classroom, comfy chairs, snacks and very warm and transparent teacher. What more could you ask for?
Even if you’re not a first timer, there is always something to learn.
