Tiny Talkers offers baby sign language and music classes for families in Portland, Oregon. This appears to be a parent-and-child style program where babies and toddlers can participate alongside a caregiver in a playful, interactive setting. The classes seem especially relevant for infants and young toddlers who are just beginning to communicate, sing along, and engage with other children.
Children in Tiny Talkers classes may spend time singing songs, learning signs, playing, and socializing with other little ones and families. The format sounds active and hands-on rather than passive, which can help young children stay engaged while repeating songs and activities at their own pace. For parents, the class may offer a practical way to learn simple signs and bring them into everyday routines at home.
The environment comes across as joyful, fun, and community-oriented. Parents are not just observers here; they appear to be part of the class experience, which may make it feel approachable for families trying a first organized activity with a baby or toddler. The group setting also gives children a chance to be around other families in a low-pressure way.
Families looking for baby classes in Portland, toddler music classes, or an early communication activity with parent participation may want to explore Tiny Talkers. Because the listing does not include a physical address, parents may want to confirm location, schedule, and current age range before attending.

1 year agoTiny Talkers is SO much fun for both the students and the parents! We have loved getting to know the other families and seeing our babies interact. We have brought home so many of the songs and activities that Shira does in class because our son loves them so much. And of course his growing sign language vocabulary has been such a benefit. I love that he can tell us if he wants more, is thirsty or hungry, wants milk, etc etc. I highly recommend this class to all parents and babies. Thank you, Shira!

11 months agoNothing but good things to say about Tiny Talkers. I signed up my 14 month old on a whim after looking for activities to do with her. Although she’s shy in class she has applied a lot of signing at home, even after the first week she was catching on. Not only that, but I and my partner both learned a ton which was nice too. Having something stimulating for her to do at this age has been great, and having the guidance of Shira during class gave me ideas of how to be engaging when signing with my baby at home.
