Kids N Us Early Learning School Mount Vernon offers preschool and daycare for families in Mount Vernon. Located on Chenoweth St, this early learning center appears to serve a broad range of young children, including infants, waddlers, toddlers, and preschoolers. That makes it a practical option for families looking for care that can grow with a child through several early stages.
Children here seem to experience a mix of structured routine, age-appropriate activities, and responsive caregiver support. The available information points to classrooms where young children are encouraged to participate at their own pace, with teachers who are attentive to individual needs. Families with babies or early walkers may especially notice the importance of comfort, consistency, and close supervision in a setting like this. For older preschoolers, the program may also provide more opportunities for daily learning and group participation.
Parents consistently note the warmth of the staff and the usefulness of regular updates, including camera access for checking in during the day. That can be especially reassuring for families of very young children who want to feel connected while they are away. The center also seems to support children with different needs and stages of development, which may be helpful for parents looking for a setting that feels personal rather than one-size-fits-all.
Kids N Us Early Learning School Mount Vernon may appeal to families searching for day care in Mount Vernon or an early learning center with a caring staff, parent communication, and care for multiple age groups. Parents may want to confirm current openings, age ranges, and daily schedules before enrolling.
Both of our kids have attended and love it!
Wedgwood Co-op is a community I’m genuinely proud to be part of. I have 16-month-old twin boys who, until recently, were mostly just exposed to each other at home. I wanted them to have more opportunities to play with other kids and engage in developmentally appropriate activities — and Wedgwood Co-op Preschool has been the perfect fit. I love the play-based philosophy, the warm and welcoming families we’ve become close to, and the sense of community that makes parenting feel a little lighter. It’s given me a supportive group of parents to share challenges and celebrate wins with, new friends for my boys, and endless ideas for how to engage them at home. Teacher Beth and our parent educator, Sally, are phenomenal — so kind, thoughtful, and caring. I’m truly grateful for this community and would highly encourage others to join Wedgwood Co-op.
Wedgwood Coop is such an amazing place! Their saying of "more than a preschool - a community" is beyond true. We completed all three Wedgwood programs with our first son and are now going through again with our second son. We have loved every program and every teacher. The parents and families here are incredibly welcoming. I wanted an activity to do with my son when he was a toddler on my day off and instead I walked away with life long friends, education on effective parenting strategies, and the best introduction to early childhood education. They set developmentally appropriate expectations of young children, use positive language around each child, and really focus on supporting parents. The teachers and parent educators emphasize play based learning and exploring individual child's interests. This makes school so fun and inviting. My son really blossomed here. If you haven't heard of Coop before, definitely tour Wedgwood. This community is pure magic.
We are loving our experience at Wedgwood Co-op so far! The teachers are amazing and the community is super welcoming.
