Columbia Crest Montessori in Kenmore offers a preschool and daycare experience for young children, with a Montessori curriculum that appears to serve multiple early childhood stages. Families searching for a Montessori preschool in Kenmore may find this especially helpful if they want a setting where children can move through different classroom transitions while staying within one familiar community.
Children here may participate in Montessori-style learning, classroom routines, and activities that support independence, concentration, and everyday confidence. The available details suggest that the program includes younger children as well as mixed-age Pre-K, which may be useful for families looking for continuity from toddlerhood through the preschool years. That kind of progression can be reassuring for parents who want a consistent environment as their child grows.
The atmosphere comes across as caring, steady, and family-oriented, with teachers who are described as patient and supportive. Parents may especially appreciate that the school seems to create a warm environment where children feel known and comfortable. Practical touches also stand out, including a large indoor area that may be especially useful during rainy seasons, along with provided food, which can simplify daily routines for busy families.
Columbia Crest Montessori may be a strong option for families in Kenmore who want an established early childhood program with Montessori structure and year-round day-to-day support. Parents may want to ask about the specific age groups, classroom placement, schedule, and enrollment process before visiting.
Great experience for our child
Both of our kids go there and our experience has been wonderful. The curriculum is thoughtfully designed. Teachers are caring. And One thing we especially liked is the large indoor area(garage) which is a huge advantage during the rainy season. I highly recommend.
We’ve had such a wonderful experience with this daycare over the past two years. Watching my daughter grow from the 1–2 year old classroom, through two classroom transitions, and now into the mixed-age Pre-K class has been incredibly special. What means the most to us is how much she genuinely loves every single teacher she has had along the way. Each teacher has been caring, patient, and supportive, and they’ve all helped her feel safe, confident, and excited to learn every day. As parents, there’s nothing more comforting than knowing your child is happy and loved when they are away from home. We are so grateful to this amazing team for creating such a warm and nurturing environment. Thank you for being such an important part of her early childhood journey! Because of the positive experience we’ve had, we plan for her to continue here until she starts elementary school. This year, we’re also excited to have her younger sister join the daycare family as well. That probably says more than anything else about how much trust and appreciation we have for this school and its wonderful teachers.
By far, the best daycare in the Kirkland/Bothell/Kenmore area. Our older son has been developing skills in the classroom while his younger son has had a great experience in the new infant room
We had a great experience sending our daughter to CCM. My daughter started going to CCM from the age of 2 and she was there until 5 and later on went on to kindergarten. She had the best of teachers all through her time at CCM. The school keeps the kids engaged with different sorts of Montessori activities that provide both fun and learning at the same time. They were nice enough to incorporate all of our needs and requirements. For example, my daughter is a vegetarian so they would provide a vegetarian diet for her. A big shoutout to Ms Angela, the director who was always there for us when we needed to discuss anything. She was very hands on and took great care of our daughter. We’re definitely considering sending our second born as well here.
