I can't think of enough good things to say about SMMS and Denee. My daughter attended two years of preschool at SMMS along with many weeks of summer camp over the years. The school environment was perfect for her: calm, encouraging, safe, loving, consistent, playful, and with a true love of learning. Denee was the first person to notice that my daughter could be neurodivergent and, because of this, we were able to get services and diagnoses much earlier than we would have otherwise. It is not an exaggeration to say that this school changed our lives, in a very positive way. I will forever be grateful to Denee and her team at SMMS.

SMMS is such a gem! Our family’s experience here has been overwhelmingly positive - the teachers here are so friendly, welcoming and put a genuine effort in nurturing each child and treating them with such respect, it reflects outside of the classroom as well. They’ve helped foster fundamental skills and our daughter’s confidence and focus has soared since attending here. We are all forever grateful to our SMMS family and the lifelong friendships from the wonderful community that we’ve made here.

Sunnyside is such a wonderful school! Both of our daughters were students here and loved their experiences. Denee and Victoria are amazing teachers and have fostered such a safe, respectful, kind and creative learning environment for every child.

My daughter attended SMMS for two years, ages 4-5. The first year was such a big change, entering a structured environment with other kids. Denée was so gentle and supportive in helping our daughter navigate a whole new world. She made friends that she continues to see past preschool. We felt SMMS was the right fit for us, having clear intentions and scheduled routine that allowed for spontaneity within structure. It was the start we wanted for our daughter’s education.
