in the last weekOver all experience was great. My Kids had fun for last minute plan. Things to bring for first time 1. If plan on using electronic locker bring $8 in small bills (exact change only) for all day use 2. Two or three Ziploc sandwich bags, one for your phone and any cash or change you may be needfor food purchase's. 3.soft or collapsible coolers are allowed, but no glass items are. 4. If you happen to be one of those parents where your son or daughter tends to run off without you with excitement or without fear. try using high visibility clothing. My go to is neon orange or neon yellow to help you spot your kids 5. Try to arrive before 1:00 p.m. it tends to get quite crowded in an early crowd for an all-day of fun on the slides ( closes at 7:00 p.m.) 6. For surfing lessons you might want to try being there extra early around 8:00 a.m. so you could sign up, that part of the area has a different entrance which is past the slide Waters entrance and is free to enter. lessons are sold separately and has a seafood Taco truck,coffee shop and surf shop plus seating overseeing the lake. Update 9-5-26 had a rude worker at the end of closing time just before 6 o'clock. Raising his voice to my group as we are trying to gather our things, to leave the park. Telling us to hurry up, he stops getting paid at 6:00. While the other life guard stood there, some what embarrassed and surprised to what he said. First time I've ever had a time like this in all the years I've come to slidewaters
