Roots Montessori in the Finn Hill area of Kirkland has been an incredible home away from home for our family. Our younger son, had a wonderful time here and truly thrived—growing from an energetic toddler into a confident, curious young boy who is now fully ready and excited for his elementary school journey. As a home-based Montessori, it provides the perfect balance of a warm, structured, and nurturing environment that fosters real independence and a genuine love for learning. Ms. Faiqa is an exceptionally caring, patient, and considerate teacher. Because of her individualized attention, she truly understands each child's unique personality and pace, ensuring they feel safe, supported, and encouraged to explore new concepts every day. We could not have asked for a better early learning experience and wholeheartedly recommend Ms. Faiqa and Roots Montessori to any Finn Hill or Kirkland families looking for an attentive, high-quality home Montessori setting.

Roots Montessori Preschool has been a wonderful place for our child. He looks forward to going to school every day and always walks in with a happy face, which really shows how comfortable and cared for he feels there. The school creates a very welcoming and inclusive environment by celebrating all festivals and helping children learn about different cultures and traditions. Ms. Faiqa follow a strong and well-structured curriculum, and we truly appreciate the continuous updates they provide about classroom activities and our child’s progress. Since starting this school year, we have noticed a big improvement in our child’s vocabulary and overall communication skills. It is reassuring to see both academic growth and emotional happiness at the same time. We are very happy with Roots Montessori and would highly recommend it to other parents.

Ms Faiqa and the Roots community was very welcoming when Madison joined at 2. She was shy at first then quickly felt comfortable and made great friends. She is very proud of the work she does at school and has learned a lot both academically and socially. Ms Faiqa does a great job keeping parents informed on a daily/weekly basis and sends pictures of the kids working and playing. Ms Faiqa also hosts celebratory events for parents to meet and the kids to show off their hard work (Mother’s Day, Father’s Day etc). I can’t say enough great things about Ms Faiqa!

We couldn’t be happier with Roots Montessori! Our son started here at 2 years old, and now at 2.5, he is absolutely thriving. His language skills have gone through the roof, and he comes home every day excited to share what he’s learned. The curriculum is excellent—designed to encourage learning through play in a way that keeps him engaged and curious. He adores Ms. Faiqa, and we can’t thank her enough for the love and care she provides. He has also made some wonderful friends, which is incredible to see at such a young age! One of the things we love most is how the school celebrates every festival, introducing the kids to different cultures in such a fun and inclusive way. The atmosphere is warm, nurturing, and truly conducive to growth. We’re so grateful to have found this Montessori and highly recommend it to other parents!
