Our family has had the pleasure of being part of Rainbow Montessori School for the past two years and are very sad our time with Jen, Barbara, and Martha has come to an end. We enrolled our youngest (of three) at Rainbow after a very poor experience with a her former school and are beyond glad we did so. Rainbow does so many "things" correctly. 1. They say what they will do, and they do it. Plus so much more. Our daughter came home knowing the essentials: courtesy, kindness, respect, numbers, letters, and counting. Shockingly, she also came home at the end of the year able to read, how to recognize 20+ flags, and to recognize and communicate with a few ASL and German phrases. 2. She was loved and respected as an individual and a community member. The teachers love their students. They also show students love through boundaries and self responsibility -something that transferred to my kiddo's behavior at home. 3. Rainbow is the best "bang for your buck". My daughter is going into Kindergarten better prepared than her sisters who were in full day preschool/PreK programs that were 5 days/week. 4. They encourage and guide students but never force them to "do" academic work if a child is not ready both emotionally or cognitively. They encourage kids to play and try new activities. Only complaint: We wish we knew about Rainbow five years sooner for our other two kiddos.

Our daughter has attended Rainbow Montessori for the past two years, and I truly can't say enough good things about the school. From the very beginning, we felt confident dropping her off each day knowing she was surrounded by teachers who genuinely care about their students. The growth we've seen in her—academically, socially, and emotionally—has been incredible. She has become more independent, confident, and excited to learn, and we know so much of that is thanks to the nurturing environment and thoughtful guidance she received at Rainbow. As she graduates this year, we're sad to be leaving but incredibly grateful for the foundation this school has given her. Rainbow Montessori has been such an important part of her early education, and we will always look back on our time here with appreciation. I would wholeheartedly recommend this school to any family looking for a caring, high-quality Montessori experience.

Rainbow Montessori is Woodinville's best-kept secret! We have seen phenomenal growth in our daughter in just a few months. She loves it so much that she asks to go every morning, even on weekends! The teachers are fully dedicated to providing a nurturing, educational environment and meeting each child's needs. We are so delighted to have found this school and to be part of the Rainbow community!

Rainbow has been the perfect preschool for our family. The staff truly care about the children and are deeply invested in the program. It’s a genuine Montessori environment where teachers meet each child where they are and focus on developing the whole child. The curriculum is intentionally designed so that every activity builds a specific skill. The teachers are calm, attentive, and excellent at setting firm boundaries with kindness. Communication is always thoughtful and clear. We’re so grateful we found Rainbow and would highly recommend it.

We’ve loved seeing the social and academic growth in our daughter over the past 2 years at Rainbow Montessori. The staff is very supportive of making the kids feel safe to ask questions, learn from mistakes and try new things. Melanie and Barbara have been wonderful communicating with us in how to support her at home. They have a beautiful way of exposing the kids to multicultural holidays, languages, and traditions as well as the Montessori Great Lessons. The sound of the week has lead to many conversations at home. I can see her mastering new skills each month. We’ve loved our experience here and highly recommend it!
