3 months agoThis is my five year-old daughter’s happy place. She asks to come here for open studio every weekend and gets annoyed with me if we don’t go early enough. She also loves the classes and camps (many of which are drop-off). The owner Jessica is extremely thoughtful and detail-oriented and plans everything meticulously with both the children and the parents in mind. If you long to be the type of parent who sets up arts and crafts projects with your kids but you just can’t bring yourself to do the planning or deal with the mess, check this place out for open studio on the weekends ($25 per kid). You and your child will love it. Grab a latte at Queen Anne Coffee Company beforehand or opt for Pure Art’s complimentary coffee/tea, and then enjoy the beautiful, light-filled space while spending quality time with your child and/or chatting with other parents.

3 months agoSuch a clean, lovely, calm and creative space for parents and kids. It's hard to imagine the neighborhood without this little nook. We are lucky to have scored this addition to our community. What surprised me most was how the classes truly appeal to and fit such a wide variety of kids, along different age ranges, artistic ability, style and focus levels. And how does the space feel SO clean with the number of kids going in and out? Daycares and elementary schools should take notes on the owner's maintenance protocols-- the result is impressive!
