Mindful Montessori- PCC is a preschool in Portland that appears to focus on early learning for toddlers and young children in a calm, structured setting. Families looking for a Montessori-style environment may find this a helpful option for children who are ready for a school routine with room for play, exploration, and guided activities.
Children at Mindful Montessori- PCC seem to spend time in a mix of hands-on and child-friendly experiences, including playground time, weekly yoga, reading in cozy nooks, and other age-appropriate classroom activities. That combination suggests a setting where children can move, listen, explore books, and participate in different activities throughout the week. For parents, that can be especially useful when looking for a program that offers both structure and variety rather than a single-focus class.
The school is described as warm and supportive, with staff who are attentive and pleasant with children. That can matter a lot for families introducing a child to a school or daycare-like setting for the first time. The mention of different programs and educational exposure also suggests a broader early learning experience rather than simple childcare, which may appeal to parents wanting a more school-like environment.
Practical details seem to point toward a scheduled preschool program, so families may want to check current availability, age fit, and enrollment options directly. Parents who want a Montessori preschool in Portland with a thoughtful, varied approach may find Mindful Montessori- PCC worth considering, especially for toddlers and young children who enjoy a mix of movement, reading, and classroom routines.
I'm so thankful for this day care and would highly recommend it to anyone. We treat this like school for our daughter, they have a different programs that provide lots of education and exposure to lots of different activities. You guys rock!!
Our toddler loves Mindful Montessori! We have been going here since they opened and love the teachers, and the location so much. My toddlers favorite things here are playing on the playground, weekly yoga, and reading books in one of the nooks. The staff is also just lovely and I couldn’t recommend it more!
