3 months agoAs a parent, I was concerned about the cost of SAT prep, but Huntington Shoreline made it absolutely worth the investment. Vicki worked with my daughter on the Reading & Writing and Bill on Math sections. Her initial practice score was average, and we were worried about her college options. Vicki focused on the specific question types she was struggling with and taught her strategies she could actually apply under timed conditions. After completing the program, her score improved by nearly 200 points. The score increase directly translated into merit scholarship offers that will save us thousands over four years. I only wish we had started sooner. The admin staff were also very helpful with scheduling and making sure everything ran smoothly. They are good for both in-person and online tutoring sessions. I would highly recommend any kid with Shorewood, Shorecrest, Edmonds-Woodway, Meadowdale, Ingraham, and Nathan Hale, alongside Lakeside, King's Schools to consider Huntington Learning Center at Shoreline for SAT, ACT or SSAT prep programs.

3 months agoWe enrolled both our kids at Huntington Learning Center — one needed help with reading and the other with math. Avi worked with our older child on reading comprehension and vocabulary, and Patrick helped our younger child build a stronger foundation in math. What really makes Huntington stand out is their personalized approach. They first did an evaluation to clearly understand where each child needed help, and then created a custom learning plan for each of them. We have seen real improvement in both our kids’ grades and, just as importantly, in their confidence and attitude toward learning. The center is very well organized, the staff is friendly and communicative, and the admin team always keeps us updated with regular monthly conferences and progress discussions. We are truly grateful we found this place and highly recommend it to other families.

4 months agoI would like to the appreciate the initial assessments, structured plans, and online tutoring, it shows quick progress, within 4 to 6 seasons and noticed positive attitudes toward school. While the study materials are well planned, the Trainer and staff are very welcoming and proactive. While I see a good progression on Maths, I get regular feedback from the Center Head abt. the next steps to build a path to success, which is very insight full.

Our son, who is in 4th grade, has shown amazing progress and is hitting the goals we established during his initial assessment. It’s been wonderful to see his confidence grow! Beyond elementary support, they have also been a great help to our other children with SSAT and SAT college test prep. The tutors are supportive, professional, and truly care about student success. 4 months agoOur elementary school-age daughter is a student of Huntington Learning Center (HLC) in Shoreline and has shown incredible progress over the last 9 months with HLC. The team @ HLC Shoreline is very supportive and accommodating, and most importantly is a superb cheerleader for our daughter in her journey through the HLC tutoring program. We are very pleased with the results and would happily recommend HLC Shoreline services to parents seeking extra tutoring / academic support for their children.
