a week agoDisappointing experience given the time and effort that went in. The metal stake for my ceramic frog was noted on my order but never attached. Staff blamed a checkout error and didn’t mention it when they called to say the piece was ready. I paid on the spot to have it glued on, and left it taped for the full 24 hours as instructed, but once removed it was crooked and fell off entirely. My friend’s two-piece project should have been fired together as one piece, but staff glued it after firing instead, so it’s no longer food-safe. The glue job itself was sloppy, with residue visibly seeping out. Staff were ambivalent throughout, and the manager refused our request for a discount without even coming to speak with us directly, blaming it on new hires. We won’t be returning.

4 months agoA few weeks ago I took my young teen grandsons to do something fun. They wanted to do glass fusion. We didn't get much in the way of instruction, I got the sense that maybe the girl helping us was new. Nonetheless, no one gave the boys any advice and no one checked back with us. The boys, being boys, went a little heavy on the fine glass particles. When she came to say we were good to go, she didn't say anything about the amount of grit on the plates. So... after picking them up yesterday we were all so disappointed! The plates were just dark colored mushy looking with very little definition of design because the glass grit just melted all together. They were disappointed and so was I after spending what I did! I wish we had had better instructions and guidance to make the experience more memorable.

6 months agoWe did the "Try It" wheel class this weekend! Kate did a wonderful job teaching the basics! I can't wait to get my (slightly wobbly) bowl back! Next time no wobbles!!
