We love Evergreen Montessori. For the last 1 year, EMA has been a great space for our daughter to engage with other children and gradually build more confidence in social settings. She’s picked up new words including some in Mandarin, and enjoys hands-on activities like using a spray bottle to clean. What stands out most is how excited she is to talk about her day whether it’s her friends, teachers, or something new she explored in class. That joy says a lot. Appreciation to the team - Kevin, Cleo, Catherine, Anna, Lorna, and Christina - for creating a warm and thoughtful environment. Our child has been at EMA home care for over a year. We absolutely love the care she receives at school. Grandma makes delicious homemade food every day. Teacher Catherine provides Mandarin story time and speaks to students in Chinese. Teacher Anna is the lead teacher who creates themed learning opportunities, songs, and structured learning time. Teacher Anna is extremely calming and soothing to children and Teacher Catherine is very bubbly and friendly. Our child learned SO much this year in practical life, language, mathematical thinking, and motor skills. I love how individualized every child's learning is with their "montessori work" and how much outdoor play time there is. The teachers helped our child with potty training too! Communication is FANTASTIC at the school. I can see what my child is doing throughout the day and have updates on food and bathroom in the moment. I feel completely confident that my child's social and emotional needs are being met and I never worry about her while I am at work. Kevin and Cleo are super responsive as well. Kevin talked me through the installation of the turf and Teacher Cleo makes sure all of the staff who are hired are held to the highest standard. For me, this school is the perfect mix of the comfort of a home daycare with the professionalism and safety of a larger school. I highly recommend EMA!
