We could not be happier with our experience at Blue Sky Childcare! Our daughter started in the toddler class here when she was 1.5 years old, and her transition was so incredibly smooth - she didn’t even cry much on her first week. When she struggled to nap those first couple of days, the teachers patiently rocked her to sleep, which completely won our hearts and showed us how deeply they care. In just the past 6 months, she has learned so many things and is absolutely thriving. She loves to randomly start singing and dancing at home now; she's still a toddler so she doesn't get all the words perfectly clear, but it is the cutest thing and you can easily guess what song it is! She even knows her colors and counting in both English and Chinese now-something we haven't even taught her at home yet. It is amazing how much she has picked up. We are also so happy that she has only gotten sick twice in the last six months, and both times were just from teething, not school. The parent community here is wonderful and everyone is so responsible about keeping kids home if they are under the weather, which keeps all the kids so healthy. The school itself is clean. They have strict indoor/outdoor shoe rules for the kids, and parents wear shoe covers when visiting indoors. A huge peace of mind for us is that they do not cook on-site at the location. Blue Sky serves catered Chinese food for lunch instead of cooking at the school, it feels much safer and ensures the teachers' focus is 100% on the children at all times. The daily schedule and curriculum are wonderful. They provide great nutritious snacks and meals, starting with a morning snack (fruits, cereal, and milk), followed by lunch, and another snack after nap time (they nap from 1-3 PM). Jenny, the owner, sends out a monthly curriculum and regular helpful reminders so we always know what they are learning each week. They also do adorable art projects that come home at the end of the week. With 12 students in the class, the teacher-to-child ratio is fantastic at 1:4, and because Jenny is so hands-on and frequently in the room, it’s often an amazing 1:3. We love that there are 2 classes (toddlers and bigger kids), and they get to play with the bigger kids during outdoor time; it is so cute that our daughter already knows the names of every classmate in the school. Logistically, Blue Sky offers excellent value compared to other daycares. They don't tack on any hidden "after-school" or extended-day additional fees. They just accept kids for the full day from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, and the teachers are incredibly flexible. Their calendar is also a dream for working parents-they don't have random, frequent closures like other places, and are only off during federal holidays and winter break. The communication is stellar and gives us total peace of mind. The teachers use an app to log everything thoroughly, noting when they sleep, when diapers are changed, and exactly what they eat. They frequently send pictures and videos through the app. We also deeply appreciate how teachers handles things when the occasional, inevitable minor kid incident happens. They are so professional and messages parents immediately to explain exactly what happened, what the outcome was, and offers helpful advice on how to handle it at home. Combined with the great brief updates we get from the teachers upon pickup, we always feel fully informed. Highly recommend!

All the teachers here are incredibly caring and loving. You can truly feel their genuine affection for the children. The classes, especially music and art, are thoughtfully designed and nicely taught. My child spent a memorable six months here, growing both happily and healthily.

My daughter has been here for eight months and has been very well cared for. Jenny and other daycare teachers are very loving and caring. They also do fun arts and crafts activities from time to time, and my daughter has learned a lot here.

I can trust the school to take care for my kid. The staff are incredibly caring and attentive. My baby is always excited to go in the morning and comes home happy. Jenny is full of passion and know details of what happened on child. They are easy to communicate. The facilities are clean, safe, and inviting, with plenty of learning activities and playtime. As a parent, I have total peace of mind knowing my child is in such good hands. I highly recommend this place to any family looking for a nurturing, supportive, and enriching environment for their little one!
