The Learning Experience – Edgewood offers day care and early childhood care in Edgewood, WA for young children who benefit from a structured but playful daily routine. Families looking for a center where children can spend the day learning, playing, and settling into a familiar rhythm may find this a useful option, especially for toddlers and preschool-age children.
Children at this center appear to take part in a mix of free play and developmentally appropriate activities, with opportunities to explore, build confidence, and interact with other children. Families also mention themed learning topics, which suggests the classroom experience includes guided lessons or activities that help children focus on new ideas in a simple, age-appropriate way. For parents, that can be a helpful sign that the program offers more than just supervision.
The environment comes across as caring and reassuring, which matters for families making daycare transitions for the first time. Staff are described as patient, communicative, and supportive, and the center appears to work closely with parents so they know how their child’s day is going. The inclusion of meals or snacks, outdoor play, and time for socialization can also make the day feel more complete and convenient for busy families. These kinds of details are often especially important when choosing care for a child who spends long days away from home.
Families who want a nurturing daycare in Edgewood with a balance of play, learning, and communication may want to explore this center further. Since age groups and program details can change, parents may want to verify current classroom options and enrollment information directly.
The people here are great and they truly care about your little one, and are committed to their mission!
Love the TLE-Edgewood team and the facility! My son loves his teachers and comes home tired but happy after a full day of playing and learning. I have seen his development since he started there, and I'm so appreciative that the team gives him the attention and care he needs to flourish the way we've seen. The only reason we are leaving is that we have to move. Thank you to Amber, Ethel, Jessica, and the teachers! We will all miss you!
We are so incredibly thankful for our experience at The Learning Experience Edgewood. My little one is always happy and cheerful at pick up, and I feel safe / comfortable dropping her off.
Two stars, and only because one of the teachers here was genuinely kind. Management is another story. Communication with parents is poor, input from families is not sought, and enrollment decisions get made and then announced rather than discussed. When a decision is handed down, the reasoning arrives with it, already final, and there is no real process for a parent to respond to it. That makes this a risky place to commit to. A center can be within its rights to end an enrollment and still handle it badly, and how it's handled lands on the child, not the parent. Small children form attachments to their teachers. Ending that abruptly is not a neutral administrative act.
We are loving our experience so far at TLE. All the staff has been so friendly, helpful and inviting. I love that you can communicate via text for any issues and the updates they provide via the app are so helpful for you to know how your little one is doing during the day. The infant teachers Ms. Gabby and Mr. Ryleigh are the best!
