The Lighthouse Early Learning and Development Center in Auburn offers day care and preschool care for young children, including infants and toddlers. The setting appears to focus on daily care, early learning, and steady routines that help children settle in and feel comfortable as they grow through each stage of care.
Children in this type of program may spend their day in age-based classrooms, interacting with teachers, friends, and age-appropriate activities. Family information suggests that infants, toddlers, and preschool-age children are all part of the center’s environment, so parents looking for care across early childhood stages may find it useful. The experience seems to combine supervision with learning opportunities, giving children a place to participate in structured activities while still moving at a pace that works for young learners.
Parents may appreciate the center’s communication with families, including updates and pictures, as well as the regular check-ins that help caregivers understand how their child is doing. The environment is described as clean, nurturing, and personal, which can be especially reassuring for parents choosing care for a baby or young toddler. Details shared about healthy food and staff support also suggest that the center places importance on day-to-day comfort and family partnership.
This may be a good fit for families who want a reliable child care setting in Auburn with a caring feel, practical communication, and attention to individual progress. Parents considering infant care, toddler care, or preschool placement may want to ask about classroom structure, age group placement, and current availability before enrolling.
My son and I moved from GA when he was still an infant. The staff is very accommodating, I was able to get my son registered that following week. He has moved up to Toddler B and being the only child and grandchild at home, his interactions with the teachers and peers has made a positive impact on his development. On top of that, they provide resources for families such as diapers, wipes, clothes, and weekly food. They can also provide necessities for home to help your child. The staff prepares breakfast/lunch/snacks for your child. Most of all, they are very transparent and are great with communicating with parents who are without their child 8-10 hours a day.
My son thrived at Light House ELS. In just one year, his communication and social skills improved dramatically. The speech therapy support we needed was all available in one place, and it made a huge difference. I just wish we had known about this amazing place sooner for our elder kid.

I have two kids under 4yr old and this school is amazing!! I initially brought my 4yr old son (was 3 at the time) here because I felt he was a behind in speech but since he started back in September with Mrs. Kim and Mrs. Fowzia for Headstart, he has improved so much!! More people can understand what he's saying and he's using 4-6 word sentences along with knowing his full name! He still gets a nap here as well and he's learned how to play with other kids his age and that makes me so happy. My 2yr old daughter started in Todd B back in October and she has thrived so much since being here! Anna and Madison have made a mark on her and she loves them both so much, I'm so sad that she will be leaving this class with her current friends and favorite teachers, to move up a class here soon. But I've met the teacher and she seems very nice, so I'm looking forward to my daughter moving up her education with another amazing teacher! I had my doubts of all daycares and early learning places as I've seen and heard bad things of other places but my kids are thriving because of all the teachers and office staff that are here and I'm so grateful I chose this school where both my kids come home happy and happy to go back the next day! This school has also been extremely helpful for those who have DSHS and help get things you may need for your kids, like; seasonal clothes, shoes, carseats, diapers and even a small food market. This staff/school makes my mom heart so happy and appreciative for everything they've done and do for our kids. If you have any doubts, please don't have any with this school as it is an amazing place to build our children's education and a place that makes them happy. Thank you to the staff/teachers that have helped my kids and me since we started to come here!
My daughter has been attending Lighthouse Preschool for the past six months, and we couldn’t be happier with our experience. What stands out the most to me is the warm and personal atmosphere. The teachers are truly caring, attentive, and create a safe, nurturing environment where my child feels happy and supported every day. I also really appreciate the focus on natural, healthy food and how clean and well-maintained the entire facility is. It gives me peace of mind knowing my child is in such a safe, hygienic space that also supports her growth and well-being. I highly recommend Lighthouse Preschool to any parent looking for a caring and professional early education setting. We’ve had a wonderful experience so far!
