Sharon Muza – Birth Classes, Doula & CBE Workshops, Birth Tub Rentals provides birth classes, doula training, and related childbirth education services in Seattle. This listing appears especially relevant for expecting parents, birth workers, and families preparing for labor, delivery, and the early postpartum period. Because the services include both education and support-focused training, the experience is likely centered on practical preparation rather than hands-on activities for children.
For parents, the value here seems to be clear, detailed guidance on topics such as birth support, newborn care, postpartum planning, and the transition into early parenthood. The classes are described as interactive and informative, which suggests participants may spend time asking questions, discussing real-life scenarios, and learning how to prepare for care at home. The service also appears connected to birth tub rentals, which may be useful for families considering water birth options and planning ahead for delivery.
The tone of the training comes across as organized, knowledgeable, and supportive, with an emphasis on practical information that parents and professionals can use right away. This may be a strong fit for families who want structured childbirth education, as well as for those seeking a more in-depth understanding of the newborn and postpartum period.
Anyone considering childbirth classes in Seattle or doula-related education may want to contact Sharon Muza directly to confirm current workshop topics, formats, and availability, since offerings may change over time.

1 month agoI highly recommend Sharon Muza’s Birth Doula, Postpartum Doula, and Lactation Support trainings. The information she provides is incredibly comprehensive and practical. I have taken doula training with another instructor before, and it didn’t cover even a fraction of the depth and quality of Sharon’s program.
What makes Sharon exceptional is that she doesn’t just teach you how to become a doula—she teaches you how to become a successful professional. She shares real-life experience, effective communication skills, how to build trusting relationships with clients, and the important dos and don’ts that every doula should know.
Sharon is knowledgeable, organized, professional, and always well-prepared. Her passion for teaching and her years of experience are evident in every class. I left her training feeling confident, well-equipped, and truly prepared to support families with compassion and professionalism. I am incredibly grateful to have learned from her and would wholeheartedly recommend her training to anyone pursuing a career as a doula.

2 months agoI've wanted to become a doula for years, and I'm so happy I finally decided to go for it. Choosing Sharon's 4 week training was one of the best decisions I could have made. Every class was so interactive, informative, and honestly eye-opening. I genuinely looked forward to each session every week. Sharon has a way of making everyone feel comfortable asking questions, sharing experiences, and learning from one another. I walked away from every class feeling inspired and even more excited about becoming a doula.
Sharon is incredibly knowledgeable, but she's also down-to-earth, encouraging, and truly passionate. You can tell she really cares about helping her students succeed. If you're thinking about becoming a doula, I can't recommend Sharon enough.

6 months agoSharon is a well of knowledge and knows her stuff. She made our virtual class feel energetic and impactful—no small feat given our class was after work each day. Between her knowledge, ability to teach, and resources, we definitely feel like we got our money's worth and then some.

9 months agoI credit so much of my successful VBAC to Sharon. Her birth class was truly wonderful. She helped me see that I did want to labor again and that I had far more choices and control than I realized. She taught me how to slow down the pace of the hospital, ask questions, and advocate for myself—skills that made a huge difference during my birth.
Sharon took the time to listen to my previous birth story and gently unpack what happened, helping me understand where things could have gone differently. Her encouragement meant so much, and she even helped me find an incredible doula team (Arise Doulas).
Her teaching style is engaging and inclusive, using multiple learning approaches to keep the class fun and accessible. She also sent hands-on materials so we could practice positions and simulate labor in real time.
I recommend her class to absolutely everyone—especially anyone hoping for a more empowered, informed, and supported birth.
