Welcoming Baby and Toddler Play Space in Kirkland

The Heybrook in Kirkland is a parent-and-child playgroup that gives babies, toddlers, and young children a place to play, warm up, and spend time with other families. It appears especially useful for parents looking for an indoor space where little ones can get out of the house and have a more engaging experience than open time at home.

Children can explore toys, activities, and a thoughtfully designed play environment while caregivers stay close by. The space seems especially well suited to babies as young as a few months old, as well as toddlers who benefit from time to observe, settle in, and join activities at their own pace. Parents may also appreciate that the setting is described as calm and intentional rather than overly hectic, which can make first outings feel easier.

The Heybrook also looks like a strong option for families who want a place to connect with other parents while their children play. The atmosphere comes across as warm, organized, and family-friendly, with staff who are responsive and helpful. For special occasions, the space can also be used for children’s parties, which adds flexibility for families planning birthdays or small celebrations.

Families searching for baby playgroups in Kirkland or a relaxed indoor play space for toddlers may find this especially appealing. It may be a good fit for parents who want a supportive environment where children can explore safely at their own pace and caregivers can feel comfortable spending time there as well.

I’ve been bringing my daughter to The Heybrook since she was just 3 months old, and it’s become one of our favorite places. Whether it’s rainy or sunny, it’s the perfect spot to get out of the house, stimulate minds, and support development in a welcoming environment.

The space is thoughtfully designed for both babies and parents, and I really appreciate the effort the owners have put into creating a place that meets the needs of families. From the calming atmosphere to the engaging activities, everything feels very intentional and supportive.

We come here frequently and always leave feeling happy. Love this place and can’t recommend it enough for other parents looking for a space that’s not their home, where you can mingle with other parents while enriching your little one.

I booked this place sight-unseen for a recent first birthday party. I've always admired spaces and places like this that serves as a resource for parents and families, and their Ultimate Play Package was the perfect deal. I was also able to add on additional time for the event so I didn't have to rush. Jordan and the staff were responsive with my emails and answering any questions I had. I was able to stop by an view the space, take pictures, etc. so I could plan out the decor. Plus I didn't have to bring a high chair for the cake smash! Vanessa (I think) was the staff on hand during the event that was also super helpful. One of our lactating mamas was able to use a private space for feeding also. The bathrooms were stocked and baby-friendly. The kids LOVED the space and the toys. The adults appreciated a space to sit and relax while sipping on tea and coffee. I recommend this place for any future parties!

We’ve been coming here for about 6 months now, and it has become such a meaningful part of our routine. It’s a welcoming place that gives us a reason to get out of the house and feel connected.

The classes have been great for my son’s development, and it’s been amazing to watch how comfortable and confident he is in the space. It’s also been an incredible resource for motherhood — I’ve made real friendships with other moms who are in the same stage of life as me.

Such a wonderful space for both kids and parents. Highly recommend.

So glad I found this place! I had my first child during the pandemic and was really sad to not be able to participate in any group classes or really build a community of moms in the same phase as me. I recently had my second and was very excited to hear about the Heybrook opening up. It was exactly was I was looking for.

It’s the perfect place to meet up with other moms for a play date (where you can actually talk!). It was obvious that The Heybrook was created for moms by moms. The space is clean, there’s plenty of parking and it’s easy to access right off the freeway.

The owners are clearly quite passionate about what they are doing and I am looking forward to visiting again!

We love The Heybrook! We’ve been going for about six months now, and it’s been such a great experience for both me and my daughter. The classes are a fun, easy way to meet other moms while the babies get to socialize too.

It’s also been an incredible source of support while navigating motherhood. There are so many helpful resources, and the variety of classes is amazing—from sensory play to mom and baby yoga to babywearing dance classes. I love that everything is in one place, so you don’t have to run all over town.

The staff are amazing—super knowledgeable, welcoming, and genuinely kind. It really feels like a community, and I’m so grateful we found Heybrook.
