Lake Washington Toddler Group in Kirkland offers a parent-and-child preschool program for families with young children. It appears especially relevant for toddlers and preschool-age children who are ready for a gentle group setting, with adults participating alongside their child rather than simply dropping them off.
Children in the program can expect a mix of structured activities and time to connect with other families in a setting designed for early childhood learning. The focus seems to be on helping little ones participate at their own pace, which may be helpful for children who need time to warm up before joining in. The program also includes parent education, giving caregivers useful information on topics such as potty training, picky eating, tantrums, and early childhood development.
The environment comes across as welcoming, inclusive, and supportive, with teachers who are described as warm and knowledgeable with young children. Families also mention a library with books for both kids and adults, which adds to the sense that this is more than just a class — it is also a parent resource and community space.
For parents looking for toddler classes in Kirkland that combine child activities with caregiver support, Lake Washington Toddler Group may be a strong fit. It seems especially useful for families who want a place where children can socialize while parents connect with one another and learn practical ideas for the early years.

3 months agoWe’ve been with LWTG for three years, and it has been such a wonderful part of our family’s life. The group has been especially great for our daughter, helping her build confidence gently and at her own pace.
The parent education has also been incredibly valuable. Over the years, we’ve learned so much about topics like potty training, picky eating, tantrums, and early childhood development.
Teacher Kym has truly been life-changing for our family. She understands children so deeply and has guided us with warmth, wisdom, and practical advice.
LWTG is a special community, and we feel very lucky to have been part of it.

8 months agoWe adore LWTG! I seriously can’t say enough great things about this program. As a stay at home mom, I was looking for activities to get my kiddo involved in and stumbled upon LWTG. Not only is it a way for your child to socialize - you also bond with a ton of fellow parents and engage in valuable parent ed. The teachers are amazing and they really try to make everything extremely inclusive and accessible. Run, don’t walk, to sign your kid up for this program. You won’t regret it!
