Under the Son Christian Montessori Preschool in Medford offers a Montessori preschool setting for young children who are learning to do more on their own. Families looking for a program that emphasizes independence, daily routines, and early school readiness may find this especially relevant for preschool-age children.
The classroom experience appears to focus on practical learning as well as early academic skills. Children may work on self-help tasks, practice doing things for themselves, and take part in guided Montessori activities that encourage patience and concentration. For parents, this can be appealing if they want a setting where children are supported in building confidence while still being guided closely by an attentive teacher.
The school is described as having a patient teaching style and a structure that helps children gradually become more capable and comfortable with classroom expectations. That kind of approach may be especially helpful for families introducing a child to preschool for the first time or looking for a calmer, more intentional learning environment.
Because it is a Montessori preschool, parents may want to ask about age groups, class schedules, and how the school handles parent communication or daily routines. Families in Medford who want an early learning environment centered on independence, hands-on learning, and a Christian-based atmosphere may want to learn more about whether this is the right fit for their child.
Both my children go to this school. Going on 3 years now. We all absolutely love it! My 5 year old will be going to big kid school & she knows everything she's supposed to because of MS. STEPHENS & THIS SCHOOL. She's a great teacher with lots of patience. The montissorri aspect was difficult in the beginning. Being a parent you just have the need or urge to do for your kids but I've learned it's important that they learn to do things themselves UNLESS they ask for help. We all learned something from this wonderful woman & her school.
